How to get a house living on centerlink payments only?

I was wondering if anyone has the same problem as me? I am a mother of two boys who are 3 an 4 years old We live in melbourne Australia. At the moment i am on the pension so i recieve payments for that also the family tax benifit byt then end of the week i have about $5with nothing at all in my bank account. I live in a 2 bedroom bungalow that does not have anything besides the 2 rooms and a bathroom? We use a garage as a kicthen and live on my dads land we are goign it very tuff and i am $20,00 in debt how did u go about getting a house?
