Can I just dump the leaflets I am supposed to deliver?

Deliver them and then chuck the job if you don't like it. If you accept a job you should do it. Bear in mind that the company may well check. I used to deliver free newspapers and the company rang random houses every couple of weeks. They would find out what time I was delivering that day and ring a house an hour or two afterwards.
