Didn't most families live in 900 square foot bungalows and own one used car when unions were strong?

Sure did an had a black an white TV that got 3 channels if you were lucky but it was free.No computers,I pods ,cell phones,call waiting,flat screens a lot less toys to waste your money on.So with the toys came the necessity for the wife to go to work to help pay for the toys an the second car.Most forgot the golden rule of saving money .Keep It Simple Silly.
