Owning a dog in college?
Ok i'm a 16 year old girl and i currently have a dog (large dog) and i would like to get another this summer. I've always had dogs and the one i have now is fully my responsibility so i know all about costs, excercise etc. I live in n. virginia right now and i really want to go to college in like san diego or maybe even spain...but deff near a beach. But i could sacrifice and stay on the east coast (still on a beach city) but i still want to travel. I do mma fighting and i always bring my dog with me to train and take her running and i will deff be doing mma in college so she and my new dog will still get plenty of excercise. I wouldn't live in a dorm i want to rent a townhouse/duplex/bungalow w/e with a couple of roomates when im in college.I understand most colleges want freshmen to stay on campus but some let you live off. or maybe i could work out having a dog on campus.Im in high school right now and i leave at 6:30am and get home at 2pm and my dog can wait to potty until i get home. So if i go to a party they can wait till i get back (i wouldnt be out long) and will have each other. Plus i go out and go to concerts now as it is and my dog is fine. I still don't know what i want to do but i don't want your average job and i really dont wanna leave my pups behind and i want to keep them part of my life. is this possible? thanks any ideas/suggestions/feedback is really appreciated
